Our client is a leading TV and Film Company and they are recurring a HR Officer to join their expanding team.  The aim of this role is to provide full and comprehensive administrative support to the HR team and the UK divisions.

Role and key responsibilities include:-

Recruitment

•    Responsible for end to end recruitment process including liaising with recruiters, arranging and attending interviews and contributing to final decisions on new hires to ensure a good cultural fit
•    Send out internal communications about new positions
•    Responsible for ensuring that all new employees are background checked before commencing employing
•    Prepare and send out offer letters and contracts
•    Oversee and run the annual internship and work experience programme

Employee Relations

•    Assist HR Manager/Head of HR in disciplinary or grievance processes
•    Assist with any junior level employee issues
•    Assist the HR Manager/Head of HR with organisational change activities such as restructures

General Admin Duties

•    Responsible for end to end on boarding of new employees
•    Liaise with line managers to schedule and arrange 3-month probationary appraisal meetings
•    Prepare offer letters and contracts
•    Support the HR Manager with learning and development programmes
•    Responsible for processing month invoices from benefit providers, training providers and recruiters through the PO system
•    General Ad hoc HR projects
•    Order cards and vou7chers for length of service awards

The successful HR Officer/Assistant will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  You will have strong organisation and administrations skills and a strong attention to detail.  You must be able to multitask and prioritise.  An understanding of Employment law is helpful and they are ideally looking for someone wanting to start their CIPD or who has already enrolled in it.  Previous experience within a media company is preferred.  This Company produces some of the world’s best known programmes and is a very creative and vibrant place to become part of.  They are initially offering this as a fixed term contract but hope that it will go permanent very quickly.
