Business Analyst - Reporting Project Systems

Business Analyst job working on a large scale Finance change programme within a global bank

Your new role

As Business Analyst you will support the completion of the Finance Transformation Project to implement source product system feeds (for example, Loan IQ and IFRS 9 impairment) into the new General Ledger. You will be responsible for testing of changes, there are 6 types of change for which you will need to ensure principles of Completeness Accuracy Validity Existence Presentation and Origin are applied.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate must be an experienced Business Analyst with a strong banking background. You must be a qualified or part qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA). You must have worked as an Auditor in a previous role in order to understand how one set of data is replaced by another. A strong technical understanding is essential for this role, you must have experience in Oracle/PeopleSoft, Quality Centre, or SQL 4. Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder engagement skills are key for this role.
