We are a company that turns the exceptional into the truly extraordinary and are looking to recruit an impeccable Receptionist to act as Front of House for our head office and Fine Jewellery Atelier, as well as to provide assistance with the day-to-day maintenance of the office. The role would suit someone looking to establish a career within the luxury sector and previous experience in a customer-facing luxury role is essential. Due to the nature of the role, the ideal candidate should also have experience in handling confidential and highly sensitive material.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an expanding, contemporary luxury brand, which works with an extensive network of artisans and experts from the Fine Jewellery, Travel and Commercial sectors.
As the Receptionist you will be the first point of contact between the Niquesa brand and its clientele, so it is crucial that you are immaculately presented, with a confident, friendly demeanor and a refined telephone manner. Since the role encompasses a very broad range of duties, you must be flexible and highly organized, with high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task efficiently. Punctuality is a must. IT proficiency and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases are required.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting business guests and Jewellery clients, escorting them to meetings and making them refreshments
- Managing the switchboard. Ensuring all incoming calls are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
- Manning the intercom for the office main gate and entrance, ensuring the security of the building
- Managing the meetings calendar, making bookings, setting up and clearing meeting rooms
- Managing incoming and outgoing post
- Arranging taxis for staff, guests and clients
- Provide administrative and practical assistance as directed by the management teams
- Dealing with building maintenance, ensuring all outdoor and indoor areas are functional and to the highest standard of appearance
- Organising and liaising with the correct contacts when maintenance is required (i.e. handyman, plumber etc.)
- Maintaining essential office stock such as water, tea etc.
- Testing the fire alarm weekly, ensuring the alarm, fire door and extinguishers are in good working order
The hours of the role are 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, but you will occasionally be required to work outside of these hours to assist with various company events.
