Our client is a leading provider of clinical services and trials within the private medical arena. They are at top of their field and as such, It is essential that they continue to operate at the highest standards, adhering at all times to Operating Procedures and the specific protocols that are held in place. Working closely with the Centre teams the successful candidate will ensure that the organisation complies with organisational, regulatory and statutory requirements for governance through performing and monitoring audits, collating information and effective reporting across the organisation. The post holder will be expected to deliver on a range of projects and work across a breadth of services and work towards ensuring the successful delivery of their audit, compliance and outcomes ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work with staff to implement and maintain governance arrangements.
  • Populate and keep up to date the governance dashboard and risk management data so that information is current and accurate.
  • Analyse complex data and provide regular, accurate and timely reports relating to governance
  • Identify training needs, in relation to governance and provide suitable training where required.
  • Support and provide training for new starters
  • Provide specialist advice on patient safety tools and techniques
  • Assist in the development of a suite of KPI’s to monitor quality both internally and externally.
  • Respond to and resolve enquiries.
  • Co-ordinate the complaints, concerns, comments and compliments process.
  • Provide advice and support to all staff undertaking risk assessments.
  • Assist in the development of policies and maintenance of a policy library.
  • Where necessary, lead governance projects, agreeing project scopes, priorities and deliverables, making recommendations liaising with key stakeholders.
  • Keep updated on current local and national policy and strategy.

The successful candidate will ideally be of graduate calibre who has a bit of administrative experience and has good analytical and numerical skills, is good with presentation of information (graphs etc.) and is able to write well as you will be producing reports that will go to the board. There is lots of scope and training and fantastic mentoring.
