PA to Head of Department – Banking – 12 Months FTC
Flex your PA and organisational skills working on a one-to-one basis for a dynamic and very busy Head of Department in the Banking division with additional support to a small team of Fee Earners within a reputable global Law firm. The ideal PA will have relevant experience preferably gained within Legal, Management Consultancy or Financial Services and will be able to demonstrate first class communication skills and an innovative flair to create and implement new working methodologies. As a right-hand person, the role will be heavily involved in gatekeeping, client interaction, making decisions and planning ahead to ensure the Business Partner’s day runs smoothly and seamlessly. This role is not for the faint-hearted and will require career-minded, optimistic and forward-thinking individuals who are hungry and driven to develop this role and make it their own!
As a PA, you will be responsible for:-
- Proactively managing busy diaries and dealing with conflicting priorities
- Extensive client interaction both on the telephone and face-to-face
- Arranging onsite and offsite meetings, conference calls, lunches and events
- Acting as the gatekeeper and first port of call for the Business Partner
- Maintaining filing systems, e-filing, archiving and retrieval
- Extensive overseas travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, Visas, itineraries)
- Offering additional support to other PA’s when required
Personal Competencies:
- Previous PA experience within the Legal or Professional Services arena
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to cope with numerous conflicting demands in a calm and unflappable manner
- Self-motivated, keen to take ownership of work and responsibilities
- Billings experience
- Strong Document Production and proof-reading skills
- Advanced MS Office knowledge and minimum typing speeds of 60wpm
