My client who is a non for profit organisation, based in the West End is looking for an experienced projects and events coordinator to implement the daily activities of the Foundation's work including scheduling, monitoring, undertaking and reporting of major pieces of work, i.e. conferences, leadership development programmes and research projects.

The ideal candidate will have proven track record of successful event management, knowledge of educational landscape, with excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

Project Implementation

To implement a large number of different projects concurrently, keeping each within specified deadlines and output requirements, including:

  • Working closely with the Project Manager to secure a range of project deliverables in line with the project plan
  • Preparing documentation ahead of meetings, and tracking actions emanating from them
  • Implementation of project quality assurance
  • Gathering and supplying information for key performance indicators
  • Escalating issues where necessary
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and consultants to ensure timely delivery of work packagesEvent Management



  • To hold responsibility for the delivery of a number of events ranging from small, in-house events to larger conferences delivered in partnership with professional agencies, including:


  • Preparing event proposals for scrutiny and approval from senior management
  • Securing venues
  • Overseeing ticketing arrangements and managing attendee lists
  • Liaising with speakers and partner delivery organisations etc
  • Ensuring an exceptionally high quality experience for attendees and partnersFinancial oversight



  • Work closely with Finance colleagues to ensure that all projects are operating within agreed financial parameters and protocols, reporting on any material variances
  • Processing and monitoring of invoices and payments in conjunction with Finance colleagues
  • Work closely with Finance colleagues to prepare and agree sets of financial and management accounts
  • Customer Service
  • Provide a triage function for incoming queries to the Foundation from service users and partner organisations
  • Tracking feedback and satisfaction surveys
  • Monitor activity on the community digital platform, responding to queries and escalating where necessary
  • Skills and Experience required:
  • A proactive self-starter who is comfortable working with considerable independence and developing their own role in a rapidly changing and growing organisation.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills, with experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, including consultants, build rapport quickly and encourage action when not directly managing them.
  • Innovative approach with an aptitude for challenging existing processes and seeking to improve upon these or design entirely new systems from scratch
  • IT proficient with excellent skills in use of Microsoft office products.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own (and team's) workload and competing demands
  • Experience and knowledge of basic financial processing
