Membership and Office Assistant, London, 18-25K 11 Mth FTC

Our Client, a non-profit membership body based in Central London is seeking a Membership & Office Assistant who will be responsible for supporting the efficient administration of memberships, director assistance and general office duties.

Who will you be working for?

Their offices are based in a modern office complex located in the hip location of Farringdon. The area boasts cafes and eateries on cobbled streets where markets spring up on a regular basis - this is a great location where you can mix business with pleasure. Transport links are great with a main station nearby for buses, the Underground and the Overground.

What does the role consist of?

  • Apermanent position has opened as an Membership and Office Assistant that will have you supporting the efficient administration of membership, director assistance and general office duties.
  • Administer memberships, including new applications, renewals and retirements whilst ensuring records are accurately maintained
  • Assist membership recruitment by managing a list of interested potential members to contact.
  • Provide committee support, including the accurate recording of committee memberships in back-office and on the company website as well as the organisation of meetings as appropriate.
  • Assist Directors in diary management, travel arrangements, filing and general administrative support.
  • Regularly update the website and other communications (e.g. twitter) with publications (e.g. comment letters, Yearbook, guidance), whilst keeping accurate records.

What will the successful candidate be like?

You will have strong computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel), website content management and exceptional interpersonal skills! You will have a courteous, helpful and pleasant telephone manner
