Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and Chairman

As Executive Assistant to our Chief Executive (CE) and Chairman, you will play a key role in our journey to create inspiring visitor experiences where momentous historic events took place. Individually and collectively these precious places tell a remarkable story. We are a commercially driven charity with four major priorities - Inspiration, Conservation, Involvement and Financial Sustainability.

You will manage all aspects of the CE and Chairman's agenda, liaising with internal colleagues and external organisations/individuals. Preparing the CE and Chairman for all internal and external meetings including preparation of information for reports to Senior Management Team and Trustees, you will also provide initial scrutiny of papers and submissions they receive. Prioritisation and communications will key to your success in this role as you ensure the CE maintains an open and outward facing approach.

You will be experienced working within a high profile EA role delivering a dedicated, professional and efficient executive support service. As a confident and efficient individual, you will have relevant experience of administrative and secretarial support duties in a proficient manner. Combining a methodical approach to work with a strong attention to detail, you will have the ability to manage a busy and varied workload, competing priorities and deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills will be required, communicating internally and outside the organisation, along with IT skills across a wide range of applications, combined with web editing skills.
