We are currently looking for a Learning and Development Co-ordinator to join my client’s large HR department based within a Global Insurance Company in the City of London. This is an amazing role for someone looking to take the next step in there career and working for a truly global, high regarded Insurance Company.
You will assist with the effective operation of the Talent & Development function within the HR Department. You will support the Manager by coordinating the delivery of learning activities and programmes. You will act as a main point of contact for any related queries, being responsive and proactive.
Identifying current and future learning needs for individuals, departments and across the organisation
Scheduling and co-ordination of internal training courses and lunchtime talks, including managing delegate list, organising training rooms and issuing joining instructions
Managing the administration of the annual performance management process at a global level
Building and maintaining external supplier relationships including the planning and co-ordination of external training for the business
Managing the professional study process in the UK and Asia, including answering queries, liaising with professional bodies (e.g. CII) and ensuring study requests are administered efficiently and effectively
Assisting in the preparation and running of the Graduate Programme. Organise a comprehensive induction schedule and assemble on-boarding packs for all new Graduates.
Planning and organising corporate and regulatory quarterly inductions, including booking presenters and managing delegate list
Supporting the Manager with the coordination of training schedules for visitors from the global offices
Respond to all talent and development queries promptly and proactively, working with employees to meet expectations
Assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely management information and data
Carrying out filing and archiving
Maintaining accurate training records for CPD purposes, including updating HR databases
Processing and administering invoices
Support the Talent & Development Manager with ad hoc projects
Providing support to the wider HR department as and when required, including Resourcing, Benefits and HR Operations
Champion the company values and work in accordance with the organisational behaviours
Be aware of and comply with the relevant rules and regulations in relation to financial crime & Conduct
THE PERSON:
- Proven experience working in a HR Department
- Experience of organising learning and development or event management (desirable)
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Proactive and able to use own initiative
- Organised and detail-orientated
- Strong administrative skills
- Maintain discretion when working with confidential information
