Expanding US law firm is looking to hire an extra body in their Practice Development (PD) team, to support the effective operational management of the PD programme and team.  Responsibilities will include preparing materials for key events and meetings with complete discretion as materials may be sensitive and confidential, managing the storage of reports and strategy documents to ensure that they are accessible when needed, coordinating the budgeting process for review and approval by various committees, provide daily support for finance related issues and questions, develop an awareness of all business issues with which the PD team is engaged, and support the team on ad-hoc project work.  You will also be responsible for organising global and key PD meetings, including scheduling, budgeting, managing the agenda, collating meeting papers and ensuring actions are noted and followed up on.  Candidates should have a minimum 5 years’ experience of working within a professional services environment, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to establish strong working relationships with individuals and groups across all levels of the firm.  Applicants should also be well organized and able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines, and candidates who are educated to a degree level or equivalent is preferred.  Standard hours are 9:30 – 17:30 with a fantastic benefits package – offices are based in the City.
