Background:
This organisation is an innovator in what is a fast changing telco sector. The wholesale market in Europe is going through a period of technical change, with a lot of telco's and carriers upgrading their backbone networks. The only way to prosper is now to ramp up volumes, sell more connections and also increase routing and cabling efficiencies. In this role you will be part of a team tasked with both sales responsibilities as well as trying to find those efficiencies
In this role, you will focus on selling new more efficient routes to your clients in order to help your clients make optimization and efficiency savings in the long term
The role:
*Sales of new routing for fixed-network services, fixed-voice services and mobile telecom services. Income from mobile telephone calling charges, mobile data access, SMS charges, line rental/subscription and connection fees are included in this category as are mobile service.
*Network planning and liaising with internal customers. You will usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to the team
*You will work with clients and advise them on buying faster and better services as this sector changes rapidly
*Routing and pricing management to find efficiency savings
*Liaise with the internal team regarding routing issues
Requirements
*Fluent English
*Sales background within a network vendor or telecommunications carrier ( ideally within Voice Wholesale)
*An understanding of Internet routing protocols
*Strong background working with spreadsheets,
