Award-winning, new and super exciting Hedge Fund seeks ambitious, hard-working and innovative Office Assistant – if you have some solid office experience, and want to develop into a Business Assistant or an EA, this is the role for you!

As Office Assistant, you will be the only member of support, so there will be plenty of scope to take initiative and grow.  As you show aptitude, more can be added to your role, including PA work, Business Assistant duties, e.g. research, pitchbook construction, Investor Relations work. 

You will be: 

  • Confident on the phone
  • An excellent written and spoken communicator
  • Able to prioritise
  • Able to cope under pressure
  • Meticulous - with high attention to detail
  • A team player
  • Flexible and pro-active, with a 'can-do attitude'
  • Good academics - A-B at A Level, or equivalent/better
  • An intermediate or advanced Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Being the ‘go to’ person, always willing to help!
  • Dealing with general enquiries, as first point of call on the phone – handling queries, and taking detailed, accurate messages
  • Managing the meeting rooms – handling bookings, ensuring that the space is immaculate at all times
  • Meeting and greeting clients and other guests
  • General administrative duties (managing post, printing and binding presentations, scanning, faxing, photocopying, ordering stationery, etc.) 

When you’re ready:

  • PA work to three Founders
  • Financial administration – raising/chasing/paying invoices and Purchase Orders, liaising with external contacts as necessary, creating/managing office budgets
  • Managing service contracts (office equipment, including IT, office lease, etc.)
  • Maintaining databases and distribution lists
  • Assisting with creating and editing MS presentations/documents
  • Organising corporate hospitality events – from inception to completion
