Our client, a high profile insurance firm are looking for a pro-active Team Assistant to join their team to support the UK Operations Office and team. Our client is based in the City, with impressive offices possessing spectacular views of London.

Principal Accountabilities

The role includes responsibility for:

•             Effective diary management of UK Operations Officer & International Operations Officer and assistance in organizing meetings for the Office of the team

•             Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the managers are well prepared for meetings;

•             Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations;

•             Proof-reading documentation;

•             Project support activities such as: tracking and updating actions, risks & issues;

•             Take notes at meetings and to provide general assistance during presentations;

•             Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate;

Job Description:

•             Occasionally arranging travel, visas and accommodation;

•             Carrying out background research and presenting findings;

•             Document management and filing as appropriate;

•             Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff;

•             Continually reviewing and looking to deliver efficiencies and better way of working;

•             Keeping Process Documents updated, and preparing initial drafts for review and sign off;

•             Championing the Company values and works in accordance with the organisational behaviours;

•             To be aware of and comply with the relevant rules and regulations in relation to Financial Crime & Conduct;

•             Ad hoc tasks as required.

Technical Capabilities

•             Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

•             Knowledge of MS Visio is advantageous but not essential

•             Logical thinker

•             Analytical skills

•             Good communicator

•             Knowledge of the insurance market is advantageous but not essential.
