Temp to Perm Legal Typist at Off-shore Law Firm, to £40,000

Expanding off-shore law firm is looking to recruit a Legal Typist to provide support to the company secretarial team, who attend board meeting and prepare detailed minutes documenting board discussions. This role is a temp to perm opportunity, and while the role will be based in London, you will be supporting the firm's off-shore teams so being able to work autonomously and without direct supervision is imperative. Responsibilities will include preparing transcriptions of audio recordings for further review and editing, preparing agendas and board packs, managing the administration of the client portal, assisting with special projects for the wider Corporate team and any other tasks that may arise. Candidates should be highly organised with excellent time management skills, and should have the ability to think ahead, prioritise their workload, respond to changing circumstances and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Previous legal drafting experience is a must, ideally within a funds team. Applicants should also be fast typists with a high level of accuracy.
