A large prestigious Canary Wharf based investment bank are currently recruiting for an experienced Workflow Controller to join their Desktop Publishing team on the evening shift. This new role will be working the evening hours of 6pm - 2am Monday to Friday as the evening Workflow Controller. This position will be working within a fast paced, vibrant team. This role will be working as part of a team liaising closely with clients to produce high quality pitch books and graphic material. The key responsibilities will include the following:

Supervise the presentations operators and ensure the quality of their output

Coordinate workflow throughout the presentations team, and negotiate deadlines for work and projects

To liaise with bankers in a professional and helpful manner at all times

To own and take responsibility for the work in terms of the final product, e.g. consistency, deadline management, accuracy and quality in accordance with the bank template and corporate guidelines

Responsibility for the management of work within time and quality parameters, and handle all customer queries relating to these documents

To liaise directly with the team for updates on workflow, deadlines, issues and full handovers so that the client’s requirements can be effectively managed

Develop effective working relationships with clients and colleagues to promote a strong working team

This position calls for a skilled and experienced candidate who has a strong background in presentations, and workflow.

The successful candidate will also be managing the operators including their attendance, dress, client communication skills, quality and timeliness of completed work and ensuring that they take ownership. The key aspects of the role will also be to ensure that the teams presentations are accurately amended/created and that Quality Checking is performed. The main aspect of the position will also be to ensure the smooth running of Global workflow.
