Receptionist - Medical Practice
Up to £21k
Monday to Friday
(Shift Hours 07:30am – 15:30pm & 14:00pm – 22:00pm).
Our client is a busy medical clinic based in Chelsea.
They require a well presented, proactive and organised person with the ability to prioritise tasks. The candidate will ideally be confident in dealing with patients and doctors, therefore previous reception experience in a medical environment is preferential.
Responsibilities include:
- Diary management for doctors
- Answering the phones and managing emails
- Preparing prescriptions
- Maintaining the clinic appearance
- Basic Typing
- Dealing with email enquiries
- Reception and appointment booking
- Actioning letters and practice related jobs
- Scanning and filing information
- Maintenance of tidy working
- Ordering stationery
- Providing a welcoming atmosphere for patients and other visitors (including providing drinks)
- Assisting with practice promotion and advertising
- Assisting with arranging academic and professional meetings
Requirements include:
- Reception experience essential (advantageous to have experience within medical profession)
- Good IT knowledge and ideally experience using medical software
- Professional telephone manner
- Slick presentation and warm friendly approach
- Confidence in dealing with patients and doctors
- Proactive and organised personality and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Team player with a positive “can do” approach
- Excellent work ethic and pride in ones work
