Secretary to a team of Directors for City Financial Firm (£32,000 - £35,000)

Principle duties:

  • Standard secretarial duties such as Audio and Copy typing for the team
  • Carrying out mail merges and general office correspondence
  • Orderly maintenance of incoming and outgoing correspondence and records, scanning documents onto the filing system and filing documents away
  • Answering the telephone enquiries, taking messages and ensuring they are dealt with effectively
  • Arrange for BACS payments, send out valuations or statements as requested (or pass to the relevant Investment Manager)
  • Help in preparation of presentations and pitch documents using Powerpoint
  • Print statements, valuations using internal system. Also provide clients with details of their account details, balance, income etc.
  • Arrange lunches, in-house and externally
  • Help with team events
  • Prepare expenses for Team members
  • May be required to perform some private work occasionally and any other appropriate duties that may be required
  • This list is not exclusive and you may be requested to carry out additional duties to those above
  • This role can be very busy with high volumes of audio typing, but there are also periods when it can be quiet

    EXPERIENCE:

  • Financial Services experience preferable
  • Microsoft Word and Excel essential for mail merge etc
  • Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
  • Audio and Copy Typing is essential
