IT Systems Support Administrator

£23,000-£25,000 + Benefits - 6 Month FTC
With the assistance of an external IT organisation you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Firm's IT systems. To support, maintain and develop computer related systems including telephones. Staff IT training. Web site maintenance and advanced WP work.

Duties & Responsibilities
* To work with external support company to provide IT support for the firm.
* Run the Helpdesk and raise support calls to assist staff in the use of their software and solve hardware problems;
* Maintain "Public Information Workspace"
* Administration of the telephone system including replacing hardware, arranging repair of hardware, training on use of system and password control
* Maintaining the firm's website to include News, Publication and Event updates.
* Providing in-house staff training on all key systems including Microsoft Windows and Office, BigHand, Evolution, Laserform, Workshare, e-Copy, Adobe, FileSite, the Internet and Citrix.
* Dealing with arrangements for new staff including desktop, BigHand and profile setup, telephone assignment and dealing with necessary paperwork, IT induction training and hand holding;
* Dealing with IT and security matters for staff leaving;
* Set up boardrooms for IT requirements upon request;
* Assist with advanced WP work and troubleshoot problematic documents and spreadsheets;
* To assist as necessary with other duties commensurate with the post;
* To manage the firm's mobile phone contract with the Office Manager and provide support to users where necessary.
* PC image building.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required
* Minimum 2 years experience in Windows network support role, preferably in a legal environment.
* Ability to deal with routine matters on own initiative without supervision.
* Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
* Flexible approach - some overtime is required including weekends.
* Good inter-personal skills.
* Smart appearance.
