Trainee Paraplanner, £17,000 pa, in Bridgend for a Specialist Financial Services Company

You will be joining a family run business, based in Bridgend, who are specialists within their industry and pride themselves on the services they offer their clients.

Your new role
You will be working as a Trainee Paraplanner, within a small team of 8, assisting colleagues, undertaking daily set tasks and developing within the role. Your daily responsibilities will be; management of existing clients Annual Review process. This entails booking annual review appointments, preparing files for the Adviser and drafting of annual review report where no further advice is given. You will also be liaising with clients, building strong lasting relationships and providing excellent customer service. Furthermore you will work closely with the financial adviser, assisting with research, leading into the production of the clients Financial Plan and assisting with invoices management.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will need a good grasp of figures and report writing abilities, as well as strong written and oral skills. They will need good knowledge of IT systems, Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Technical knowledge is not mandatory as training will be provided, however some experience/background within a similar industry or an interest in developing in this area is a must. The candidate will also need to be driven to learn, as exams and qualifications will be part of the job development. Moreover the candidate will need to be able to work closely with all employees in order to provide a high level of service to our clients, therefore good customer service is a must as the candidate will be regularly liaising with clients and providers. In addition, a confident, friendly and flexible manner would be best suited to this role, with the eagerness and determination to want to develop and succeed.
