A fantastic opportunity for a Team Assistant to join a leading Corporate Finance firm providing support to a small team in the City. You must have a strong work ethic, be willing to learn and a true team player. Microsoft Office proficiency is a must, as well as excellent communication skills and the capacity to manage a varied workload in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diary management including booking team, client and intermediary meetings
  • Complex travel arrangements; booking transport and accommodation, arranging visas and creating itineraries when required
  • Gatekeeping; answering telephones, directing calls as necessary, taking messages and relaying appropriately
  • Typing agendas, letters, emails, detailed business plans and preparation of complex PowerPoint presentations
  • Typing correspondence and preparing company information packs
  • Providing holiday and sickness cover to the receptionist when required; meeting and greeting guests, organising catering, upkeep of the reception area, meeting rooms and client kitchen
  • Displaying marketing materials on reception including newspapers, industry magazines, press cuttings and keeping files up to date
  • CRM database management; adding new contacts and tagging detailed entries on behalf of the team
  • Printing, collating and binding of business plans, presentations, standard documents and company information
  • General office administration including filing, scanning, photocopying and archiving
  • Any other required ad hoc tasks

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a professional services environment, within financial services is preferred
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office especially Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with SharePoint and Adobe
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a heavy workload to a high standard
  • Professional and polished
  • Flexible and adaptable working approach
