Exceptional creative writing skills, ability to work with tight deadlines and excellent communications skills are all required for this great opportunity to join the PR and Communications team at a well-established financial firm, based in the heart of the City.
Responsibilities
- Stay up to date with the latest developments and generate new ideas for content and commentary
- Review internal work to generate news stories and/or alternative content
- Edit, proof and improve the writers’ posts
- Use various IT systems for content publication and analytics
- Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements
- Creating daily press cuttings to update and inform the team on sector relevant content
- Writing press releases, articles and blogs
- Planning and running communications and social media campaigns
- Any other required ad hoc tasks
Requirements
- Degree in Journalism, Marketing, English or any other relevant field preferable
- Proficient IT Skills, specifically Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi task and prioritise a heavy and varied workload
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
- Developed editing and proofing abilities
- Excellent creative writing skills
