Operations Team Leader

Our client, a dynamic spread betting company based in the City, requires an Operations Team Leader to start ASAP.

The main duties are:

• Organizing and overseeing the day to day workload of the Operations Team.
• Reporting team updates including KPI's to the Operations Manager.
• Working on junior level projects.
• Providing assistance to the Operations Team members.
• Training new employees on the processes and systems.
• Collating feedback and ideas from the team members on their daily processes and working with the Operations Manager to make improvements to said processes.
• Document authenticity verification using available software and provided training for client KYC documents.
• Administering the set up of new client accounts.
• Responding to client enquiries via email.
• Processing withdrawal requests to Clients onto our in-house system as well as onto our external partner systems.
• Monitoring UK and international multi-currency bank accounts for funds received and applying these to clients trading accounts.
• Taking credit and debit card deposits from clients on the phone.
• Assist customers and other Internal Departments on payment enquiries.
• Processing the posting of goodwill payments, trade related case adjustments and dividends.

The successful candidate will have experience with payments and a background in KYC is also beneficial. You need to have gained experience within a Financial Service, ideally a Trading environment. You need to have excellent written and spoken communication skills and must be confident communicating with clients and colleagues at all levels. You need to have good Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Word and Excel.
