Our client, an established Hopsitality company based in the heart of the City, are looking for an experienced L & D Manager with either Hospitality or Retail experience to join their HR team, this is a standalone 360 Learning and Development position.

The Role

Review the Learning and Development stratergy to ensure programmes meet the needs of employees and research alternatives if required
Analyse current skills and abilities throughout the organisation to identify skills gaps and review training options
Educate Managers on their role in developing people
Develop and maintain testing products for use in recruitment and assessing future staff progression
Responsible for creating and maintaining training programmes relating to:
-Induction and onboarding
-Staff Development Review training
-Buddy Manual and procedure training
-Maintaining and updating handbook
-Manage all training records for all staff on HR database
 
The Person

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline
CIPD level 5 diploma in Learning & Development Practice. 
Knowledge of generic learning and development systems and processes

  Strong experience in learning & development strategies 
Experience of designing a broad range of learning interventions 
Strong facilitation and coaching skills 
Proven experience of training needs analysis 
Interpersonal skills that enable the post-holder to motivate others and change attitudes 
Problem solving and negotiation skills 
Initiative and the ability to offer new ideas
