THE COMPANY:
Our client is a global print and communications business based in Dagenham.
THE ROLE:
To manage and process the monthly payrolls, process year end and to provide administration support to the
Human Resources department.
Payroll:
- Manage and process monthly payrolls for UK staff
- Handle and resolve all payroll queries
- Prepare monthly BACS runs
- Deal with all tax matters
- Run year end procedures – P60’s and P11D’s
- Issue clock cards and prepare overtime spreadsheet on a weekly basis
- Ensure commission figures are prepared for payroll
- Provide changes to monthly payroll, such as new starters and leavers and issues P45’s
- Submit RTI’s to HMRC after payroll has been run
- Create Salary Journals and complete Balance sheet reconciliation each month end
- Submit pensions on a monthly basis to our pension provider
- Create new HR records and files for all new starters, both manual and computerised and maintain
- existing files
- Prepare and issue standard letters in liaison with managers
- Maintain employee holiday and absence records and send out to managers on a monthly basis
- Headcount report on a monthly basis
- Prepare holiday accrual spreadsheet on a monthly basis
- Maintain staff information spreadsheet
- Assist with HR ad hoc duties
