The training division of this well known charity runs events for both external customers as well as in-house. Last year they trained over 10,000 people. They provide in house training to external organisations at their own venues, short courses for external organisations and internal staff as well as seminars and conferences to deliver more specialist topics to a wider audience. This is a brand new role due to winning a new contract.
You will join a small but friendly group and coordinate a new training programme. Duties will include organising promotional material and literature, dealing with customer enquiries and bookings, promoting courses to customers face to face or over the phone. In addition you will maintain the database, issue invoices and provide ad-hoc administrative support to the team.
The ideal candidate will have very strong administrative skills (at least two years' experience) gained within a training environment. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, will be confident at selling and promoting courses to clients over the telephone and face to face. This is a one year role with an immediate start so candidates must be free immediately with no notice period.
