We are seeking a VIP Host to work at one of our most iconic and prestigious client sites in the City of London.
Key Responsibilities:
• To take responsibility for welcoming all visitors
• To greet and escort the Chairman and VIP’s, carrying any bags and opening the car door
• Manage vehicles, bookings and unauthorised parking
• Prevent unauthorised photography/filming at the building’s main entrance
• Manage Tour Guides and their parties, checking ID and issuing appropriate passes
• Manage the queues in reception
• Manage the VIP diary
• Work closely with Reception and Security to provide a seamless five star service to visitors
• Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in the Reception, reporting issues promptly and ensuring they are followed up
• Act as a point of information
• Paper deliveries
• Undertake regular checks of the floors, reporting any hazards to the Helpdesk as required to ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Provide a managed cloakroom service
• Set-up and down of function and meeting rooms, provide AV and support as appropriate.
• To develop and maintain excellent relations with client management
• To work as part of each team that is maintaining five-star standards
• To maintain a professional appearance at all times in adherence with company grooming standards
Key Skills and Experience required:
• Corporate / hospitality/ customer service experience
• Experience working with systems (e.g. MS Office)
• Impeccable grooming standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive and helpful personality
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Motivated, committed and flexible
• Passion for tradition and history
• SIA licensed or willing to undertake SIA training
