Our client, a leading Media company based in the heart of the West End, are looking for an Accounts Payable Exec to join their friendly Finance Team. You must have one years experience and want to join a progressive and growing company who offer career advancement, great benefits and qualifications.
The Role
Developing relations with media owners, to provide exceptional customer service
Processing over 750 purchase invoices per month onto the accounting system via our Document Management system
Matching media owner invoices to the relevant media booking
Preparing reconciliations for payments twice a month
Emailing and filing media owner remittance advices
Monitoring the accrual ledger
Liaising with the internal administration and billing teams to resolve invoice queries
Monitoring the aged creditors report on a monthly basis
The Person
Relevant experience of working within a finance team, ideally within a payables capacity
Experience with dealing with high volume of invoices is essential
Experience working within a media environment is preferable
Proficient excel skills are necessary
Experience of working with finance systems. Training will be provided for the bespoke systems used
Excellent communications skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Desire to learn and take on additional responsibilities
