A prestigious investment and trading organisation is urgently looking for a bilingual Team Assistant with fluency in Japanese AND English to provide seamless secretarial and departmental administrative support duties to a small team of managers in one of the companies' busiest divisions.

Your responsibilities will range from classic PA/Secretarial support i.e diary management, scheduling meetings, arranging travel itineraries and accommodation, reserving restaurants, preparing presentations and processing expenses using Conur to data inputting, copying documents, reviewing and proof reading documentation in English and Japanese, undertaking marketing tasks such as desk research creating reports on current market trends in certain business sectors and liaising with external offices across Europe and Asia in both Japanese and English.

Suitable candidates must have first-class written and verbal communication skills Japanese AND English, possess seamless multitasking and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail alongside a demonstrable PA/secretarial/administrative background. Ideally you will have worked within a large international / cooperate environment. You must be very flexible, adaptable and have the ability to work well under pressure in fast paced environments with ever-changing schedules.

Profile:

  • Fluent written and spoken English AND Japanese
  • Proven Administrative/Secretarial/ PA experience , ideally international/blue chip organisations
  • Good knowledge of Japanese culture and ideally experience of working in Japanese company
  • Excellent translation and proof reading skills in English and Japanese
  • The ability to work to very tight deadlines in a fast-paced environments
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Adaptable, professional, flexible and discreet
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and working knowledge of Concur
