This Internationally renowned law firm wants someone with theses capabilities to join their team on a  35 hour per week FTC.
 
You will be part of a team of 18 (14 fully qualified researchers and 4 assistants), and your purpose within that team will be to get the correct information for the client , from the most appropriate source, in the quickest time and in the most cost effective way. Your team will fall into four categories research,current awareness,resource management and training.
You will work on a rota system alongside your colleagues, where you will receive ongoing support and training to develop your professional skills and training. It is hoped that this position will grow with the firms needs and may well extend in hours to meet the growing needs of the firms lawyers worldwide.
 
You key responsibilities within this role will be ;
 
*Allocating and researching enquirers received from lawyers and others worldwide, using a range of business and legal information sources. 
 
*Training lawyers and colleagues, for example: information orientations, research tuition, and the use of specialist sources.Assisting lawyers in the use of the firm's information systems and libraries.
 
*Identifying, evaluating, and promoting new sources of business and legal information or enhancements to existing ones.
 
You will need to have ;
 
*Recognized library or information degree at either post-graduate or graduate level.
 
* Recent legal and/or business research experience using a wide range of on line databases and hard copy resources. 
 
* You should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of sources used in terms of their content, functionality and cost.
 
*Ability to demonstrate high levels of client care and to deal with everyone in the business environment appropriately.
