Executive Assistant
As a leading player in the banking world, this firm has a prestigious brand and enviable culture. Based in the office headquarters in Canary Wharf, you will provide professional support to the Banking team including 2 MDS, 2 EDs, 5 VPs and associates. This department is one of the financial industries dominant leaders generating investment ideas. This is an exciting and challenging role in a progressive and top ranked department. The role will encompass a wide range of work and responsibility.
In this highly involved role, within a fast paced, high pressure environment, you will be proactively:
- Managing multiple complex diaries
- Answering telephones in a timely and accurate manner
- Acting as a contact point and ambassador for the team
- Liaising extensively with internal and external clients
- Coordinating extensive European and international travel, visa applications and processing expenses
This position will appeal to an individual who is looking for a diverse and varied role, someone who is happy to take on other duties alongside their traditional PA responsibilities such as assisting the team in identifying key clients, managing the teams marketing plan, organising and participating in weekly team meetings and organising events.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Previous PA/EA experience, preferably 5+ years in a similar role preferably within financial services entity or other blue chip environment
- Must have first class client service skills
- Cheerful, positive can-do attitude
- Highly motivated, able to stay one step ahead and think outside the box
- Must be flexible and adaptable in a fast-pace environment with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills, confident and professional at all levels, both verbal and written
- Must have good commercial awareness
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, dealing with multiple deadlines and changing priorities
- Calm, professional and resilient, with the ability to problem solve
- Consistent, reliable, good time-keeper
- Experience of supporting a large team
- Must be a team player with excellent team working ethic
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Advanced knowledge of all Office applications - Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Knowledge of Concur and CRM preferable but not essential
