Our client, a respected technology company situated in Central London are currently looking to recruit an Office Manager to supervise all administrative procedures and coordinate the general day to day running of the office, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This will be a busy role, and will require successful applicants to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Ideally, you will have had previous experience working as an Office Manager for a similar environment, but if not, you will be able to demonstrate transferable skills.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and develop strategies to follow for administrative procedures
- Maintaining relationships with any third party vendors/contractors to ensure the efficient running of the office
- Responsibility for planning for any office requirements, current and in the future – for example a new office location, ordering new equipment etc.,
- Manage the relationship with the landlord and building management teams in regards to any maintenance issues
- Heading up the organization for company events
- Managing the health and safety compliance process
- Ad hoc Administration
The successful applicant will ideally be able to demonstrate previous working experience of the responsibilities above as well as someone that is able to prioritize and multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft programmes
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Team player
- An understanding of business processes and operations would be advantageous
