THE COMPANY:
Our Client is a global multi-discipline risk consultancy. They are currently looking for a Team Leader to be responsible for the day-to-day management of the operations coordination team, and for the provision of operational support to the department including all elements of the project lifecycle.
THE ROLE:
Team Management
- Day-to-day line management of operations coordination team
- Set performance objectives in conjunction with practice Directors
- Perform interim and annual reviews and provide continuous feedback on performance
- Manage annual leave and other planned absence within team to ensure adequate cover is in place at all times
- Optimise allocation of resources within the team at busy times to ensure all practices are adequately supported
- Provide guidance, support and training, identifying development needs within the team and work with Head of Business Operations to devise and implement plans to address
Project lifecycle administration
- Full project lifecycle support to practice areas from project set-up through to cash collection
- Coordination of practice-related travel administration
- Liaison with consultants and finance to coordinate client billing and monthly accruals
- Ensure outsourced consultant and subcontractor pre-deployment administration is completed in line with internal and departmental policy
- Coordination of training for project managers on project lifecycle related policies and procedures
- Maintain oversight of and ensure the efficiency of the project lifecycle process
- Ensure effective electronic storing of all document filing in compliance with company DRAD policy
- Work closely with practices to understand and address any service delivery issues they may have
- Ensure compliance with all policies and agreed procedures within the team
- Initial point of contact for escalation of business operations service queries from the team and practices escalating upwards where necessary
Systems/Data Management
- Super user for CRM and Dynamics
- Ensure the effective use of all systems within team ensuring appropriately trained
THE PERSON:
Essential
- Previous experience in a similar role in a commercial environment
- Experience of supervising a small team
- Proficient in MS Office including intermediate Excel, Word
- Strong planning and organisational skills with ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident, solution-orientated and with a positive attitude
- Flexibility and a team player
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
