Project Team Leader - 12 Month FTC

We are recruiting for a Global Management Consultancy based in London Bridge they are looking for a Team Leader / Project Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of the coordination team and to support the project administration. This is a maternity contract role for a year which pays up to £34k.

The duties will be split between line managing a team of 2 and project support:

Team Management

• Day-to-day line management of operations coordination team
• Set performance objectives in conjunction with practice Directors
• Perform interim and annual reviews and provide continuous feedback on performance
• Manage annual leave and other planned absence within team to ensure adequate cover is in place at all times
• Provide guidance, support and training, identifying development needs within the team and work with Head of Business Operations to devise and implement plans to address

Projects

• Full project lifecycle support to practice areas from project set-up through to cash collection
• Coordination of practice-related travel administration
• Coordination of training for project managers on project lifecycle related policies and procedures

Business process review

• Identify business process, policy and practice issues within the team and find solutions, working with team, operational management and other relevant stakeholders

Essential experience and qualifications

• Educated at a degree level or equivalent
• Familiarisation of a CRM/time management system
• Previous experience in a similar role in a commercial environment
• Experience of supervising a small team
• Strong planning and organisational skills with ability to prioritise and multi-task
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
