A new opportunity has become available at an International Bank for a Client Services Officer with Japanese.
Duties to include:
- To ensure all client queries are responded to within 24 hours and ensure that the response fully addresses the issues raised and if a response cannot be provided within this timeframe, to keep the client regularly updated of progress being made
- To ensure all ongoing queries are being addressed by the appropriate sections
- To monitor overdrawn balances daily and notify respective clients accordingly
- To validate and forward all instructions received daily to Operations for processing
- To log Client Service activity and collate stats for Senior Management review
- To ensure that the month end interest is applied to client accounts accurately and on a timely basis
- To ensure that appropriate clients receive their required interest notifications and supplementary information, including debit/credit rates and agency ratings
- To ensure that all client record are up to date, including documents and internal systems
- To complete any new market or cash ledger account openings or existing clients when applicable
- To complete any fundamental service change for existing clients when applicable
- To assist the division in ensuring all client reports are produced accurately and make any subsequent amendments in accordance with client's requirements
- To complete and return Fund related Audit Confirmations when applicable
- To chase clients for outstanding custody fees on behalf of the Fees Department if no acknowledgement or response has been obtained directly
- To keep appraised of market developments and advise clients of changes
- To organise and attend client visits, document call reports and meetings and identify and follow up on any issues
- To set up static data as required
- To fulfil daily client reporting requirements
The candidate will have:
- Japanese language is essential
- 3-5 years' experience gained within Global Custody environment or relate industry
- Proven skills in communication, staff management and able to organise workflow
- Good understanding of securities industry, preferably with experience and knowledge of the custody product
- Able to communicate and deal directly with clients with confidence and a professional attitude
This is a permanent position that the client is willing to pay up to £36,000pa depending on experience, this role has working hours of 7.30am to 3.30pm.
