We have just taken on an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic Admin Assistant to work for an inspirational childbirth charity, set up by a leading consultant in his field. They are a passionate team with big ideas, based in Chelsea.

They are looking for someone to work alongside an existing Secretary to two busy consultants, to ensure the successful and smooth running of this busy private practice. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Screening phone calls, sorting mail and filing
  • Management of the accounting system, making sure it is up to date
  • Invoicing, chasing payments and issuing receipts
  • Compiling new patient information packs and keeping existing ones up to date
  • Ensuring the practice database is kept up to date
  • Holiday cover for the Secretary including; scheduling patient appointments, preparing medical reports, maintaining office files and providing full support to two consultants
  • Other ad hoc duties like arranging catering for meetings and making reservations

Overall they are seeking an administrator who is discreet, but confident and unflappable. The ideal candidate does not need previous medical experience, however must have experience dealing with financial matters; invoices, payments etc. They are looking for someone who is able provide high calibre support to this busy team, as well as being a positive, friendly face to patients, including an impeccable phone manner.

In return you will be rewarded with a salary up to £25k, dependant on experience.
