£18,000 Sales administrator role, Immediate start, Full Time Permanent, sales processing background.

Your new company
A large and well established manufacturing company, globally recognised. you will be confident in coordination of all aspects of the business and be able to help in all aspects of Sales (Inbound / Outbound / Order Processing) - good communication skills are important.

Your new role
You will be responsible for;

  • Generating and processing sales orders
  • Interaction with customers - dealing with enquiries and responding same day
  • Develop and in depth product knowledge and be able to question the customer to gather all relevant information so that products and services can be tailored to meet their needs
  • Providing quotations, product information, lead times and prices
  • Deal with customer enquiries, orders and after sales in an efficient and timely manner
  • Review, manage and update the sales book and stock availability
  • Keep customer informed on order progress, providing updates when needed
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure that goods are produced, purchased and delivered on time (Production, Repair, Servicing and Accounts)
  • Fully understand and manage the customer returns process (Warranty jobs, Repairs, replacements and credits)
  • Use of computer / systems for sales paperwork and reporting
  • Produce data / reports to assist non office based sales teams
  • General admin tasks - filing and general housekeeping
  • Cover colleagues duties in periods of absence (Annual Leave, sickness etc)



What you'll need to succeed
This is a customer facing position and sales experience is vital. It is critical that the successful candidate is able to work within a small but busy team and is able to be proactive in achieving the tasks on time, have good communication skills both with customers and the branch staff is critical. The role will require a good team player who is able to cover for other members of staff during periods of leave.
