Procurement Specialist – Luxury Interiors

At this London based interior and architectural design company you will be responsible for the purchasing of FF&E and services for multiple projects in the UK and internationally.

Projects include distinctive and high-end residential, restaurants, private members clubs, luxury hotels and super-yachts.

You will be reporting directly to the FF&E Director and Financial Director.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing project programmes, managing timelines to ensure goods are ordered and delivered on time.
• Budget control.
• Reviewing the integrity of specifications.
• Co-ordinate with the designer and supplier with the development of Bespoke FF&E items.
• Manage third party storage and freight/delivery services.
• Prepare tender enquiries, including financial analysis.
• Liaise with teams to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Monitoring and managing the purchase process from specification, timeline, delivery, to financial and contractual compliance.
• Project budget overview, anticipating overspends.

Experience and skills:

• Several years experience purchasing for high end design, hospitality or Interior fit out projects.
• Dealing with global projects and suppliers.
• Track record of planning, negotiating, procurement, buying terms and contractual arrangements.
• High level of numeracy and experience with budgetary systems.
• Able to successfully train, motivate and manage junior or support members in your department.
• A confident and fluent team operator with excellent written and spoken English.
