Working for a wonderful law firm in Chancery Lane, this role is immediately available and offers lots of scope for the right person.

The successful candidate's main responsibilities will be to ensure efficient support to the Practice Group Manager and to deal with a broad range of administrative tasks and specifically assigned ad hoc projects. It is working in the property litigation team. This area of legal knowledge is desired but not essential. However you must have previously worked in a PA or administrative capacity in a professional services environment.

Practice Group Administration
o Coordination of monthly team meeting and video call (room bookings, agendas, minutes)
o Organising File & WIP Reviews
o Booking internal and external events
o Organising work experience weeks
o Booking travel
o Drafting expense claims
o Aged debt/WIP reports
o Professional Indemnity Insurance renewal
o Coordination of appraisals
o Completing monthly client reports
o Ad hoc administrative duties as required
 

Business Development
o Updating the team meeting BD / New Instructions spreadsheet
o Coordination of L500/Chambers submissions
o Organising and booking lunch / dinner for Networking / BD
o Assist with BD initiatives
o Provide admin support for bids and tenders
o Managing areas of focus and following up specific actions
o Managing professional memberships
 

Team Administration Audio and document typing
o File management
o Client contact
o Post duties
o Diary management
o General support for the London Property Litigation team

Adaptable, flexible and able to multi-task
Able to work productively with people at all levels
Strong sense of customer service
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with Partners and staff across the team
Relishes taking responsibility and acting on own initiative.
Able to recommend process improvements
Ability to work as part of a team
Confidentiality and discretion are fundamental
Good drafting and IT skills (Microsoft office including Excel and PowerPoint)
A working knowledge of financial management and accounts and marketing and business development
Capable of managing a varied and demanding workload
Proactive and positive 'can do' attitude
