What will you be doing?

The role of the Modifications Senior Administrator will be responsible for supporting the progressing of modifications to the Smart Energy Code (SEC). The role will involve assessing and researching the impacts of changes to the SEC and presenting their finding through reports and presentations. You will also coordinate with other departments on matters relating to Modification Proposals

Your duties will include

• Supporting and facilitating the discussion of matters that may lead to a Modification Proposal
• Progressing Modification Proposals through, and in accordance with the SEC Modification Process
• Providing expert advice to clients on the Modification Process
• Presenting presentations, briefs, and supporting presentations at industry meetings
• Preparing agendas, papers, responses, code and market reporting
• Reviewing and analysing industry consultations and collating reports/responses
• Supporting and maintaining long client relationships
• Continuously improving the products, techniques and procedures used

What do you need?

You must have experience within the UK retail utilities, preferably electricity, gas, UK smart metering, or grids. You need to have

• Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a particular focus on quality
• Strong written, verbal and numeracy skills
• Ability to communicate complex issues and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage time and a varied work-load
• Good attention to detail and quality of own work
