Part-Time Legal PA in Medical Negligence - 2 Days Per Week!

We have an opportunity for a part-time Legal PA to join a prominent law firm in South London who are looking for an experienced individual to work as part of a job share on Thursdays and Fridays.  The firm are very sociable and emanate a friendly-family feel, and the ideal Legal PA will demonstrate a positive, ‘can do’ manner and a flexible attitude towards work.  The role offers a mixed bag of duties where no two days are the same and its working for a great bunch of fee earners.  If you have either Medical Negligence, Clinical or general Litigation experience and looking for a work-life balance, then please email your CV for immediate consideration

As Part-Time Legal PA you will be responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively with your ‘job share’ colleague, providing updates and handovers
  • Extensive diary management for Fee Earners in Clinical Law
  • Arranging meetings both internally and externally
  • Producing long, accurate complex house style documents, manuscripts amends
  • Audio dictation and document comparisons
  • Organising and prioritising busy workloads
  • Full diary management, arranging meetings, conference calls, lunches and events
  • Maintaining filing systems, e-filing, archiving and retrieval
  • Extensive overseas travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, Visas, itineraries)

Personal Competencies:

  • Previous Legal PA experience within Medical Negligence or PI Litigation
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to cope with numerous conflicting demands in a calm and unflappable manner
  • Self-motivated, keen to take ownership of work and responsibilities
  • Billings experience
  • Strong Document Production and proof-reading skills
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge and minimum typing speeds of 60wpm
