Are you a budding HR Administrator with a love of all things fashion? Then this is the role for you! This globally revered company is looking for an HR/Recruitment Assistant to join their London team.
You will provide quality HR and recruitment support on a daily basis to the HR Department. In this role you will be mentored by one of the HR Business Partners and the Talent Manager who will assist your learning and development through your career at the company.
The ideal candidate will have completed or be working towards a CiPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) qualification (or equivalent), have a keen interest in human resources and recruitment.
Candidates need to be extremely discreet due to confidential information, be approachable and have the ability to be firm when needed.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Answering the phones and relaying messages to the team
- Coordinating casual workers and preparing and processing weekly time sheets for temporary payroll
- Assisting the Talent Manager with general administration including CV vetting and candidate feedback
- Owning the recruitment process for internships with responsibility for the full life cycle of recruitment in this area
- Contract generation of intern contracts and various permanent employment contracts
- Supporting the HR Coordinators with inductions, on boarding, new starter contracts and collecting right to work documentation
- Issuing employee security passes
- Requesting references for new employees, as well as providing references for current or previous employees
- Providing first line support to employees for basic HR queries, including absence and benefits
- Distributing external and internal HR post
- Ad-hoc filing, scanning and photocopying including assisting with the move towards paperless administration
The successful candidate will have:
- Proficient skills in MS Office packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are essential
- Experience using a recruitment system would be a bonus but is not essential
- Candidates should have completed, be working towards or want to begin a CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) qualification (or equivalent)
