Paralegal - Colchester, Essex
My client, a Law firm based in the City are looking to recruit a Paralegal for their new office in Essex. The suitable candidate must have previous Conveyancing experience and able to manage their own caseload. This is an exciting and challenging role that requires flexibility and the ability to successfully prioritise competing demands.
Duties:
Dealing with all aspects of the securitisation of properties for RSL's including the following;
*Carrying out Searches;
*Meeting targets that may be set
*Applying for Official Copy Entries and Office Copy Documents;
*Obtaining other items from Local Authorities;
*Chasing for outstanding items;
*Identifying Titles;
*Carrying out pre-completion Land Registry Searches and assisting the Solicitors and other members within the team and
*Providing progress reports for the Solicitor.
Personal Specification:
*Good drafting skills;
*Competent in al MS applications;
*Good communication skills and
*Excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all times.
Candidates must possess a 2:1 degree or equivalent in Law and successful completion of LPC or studying the LPC part time.
This is not an exhaustive list and from time to time it may be necessary to vary these to meet the department and business needs.
