Executive Assistant

 

Gresham House is a specialist asset management group focused on managing funds and co-investment across a range of differentiated and illiquid alternative investment strategies. The company is built around a long-term investment philosophy and private equity techniques, and has a core team of experienced, committed and highly capable investment and business managers with strong track records of building asset management businesses. 

We are now looking for an Executive Assistant to help support the future growth of the business. The primary focus will be on supporting a number of senior team members but will also encompass a wider office management and administrative function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to a number of senior executives including the Head of Strategic Investments, three Investment Directors, the Commercial Director and the Chief Operating Officer
  • Diary management, including organising investor/marketing roadshows and meetings, company meetings, Investment Committee meetings and Board meetings
  • Collating and distributing papers for internal and external meetings
  • Preparing, printing and binding marketing and investor relations presentations
  • Using the CRM system to manage contacts and produce reports
  • Organising small, ad-hoc events
  • Travel bookings and expenses
  • General office management, including management of meeting rooms, greeting visitors and providing refreshments
  • Providing holiday cover for other support staff

          Personal Specification

  • Experienced, forward-thinking, enthusiastic and business aware Executive Assistant, ideally with a prior track record in the financial sector
  • Resourceful, with a positive, courteous and professional attitude, and experience of dealing with confidential matters
  • Self-starter who works well under pressure, is able to adapt to a fast-paced environment, has a ‘can do’ attitude and is willing to get involved in multiple aspects of the business
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • Flexible approach, able to work well as part of a small team
  • Strong MS Office, including Powerpoint
