Interim HR Advisor, Temp with 20% travel, £17ph with VALID DBS
We are seeking a self motivated and organised HR Adviser for an immediate start to provide comprehensive HR advice and guidance to our UK and international teams. All that this company wants to do is some good in the world and this is your unique chance to jump on board and work with a loving and passionate charity!
With international travel, up to 20% annually!
Who will you be working for?
The company is a leading global charity with an international presence engaging in aid relief and emergency support to children and vulnerable adults. This is an organisation dedicated to helping those in need in all corners of the world. As this organisation is involved with various campaigns and fundraising projects, this means that your time at this company will be both challenging and rewarding. Based in the heart of London Farringdon, great opportunity to explore and venture to various restaurants and bars.
You MUST have a valid DBS certificate due to the nature of the organisation and their mission of helping children and vulnerable adults.
What does the job consist of?
The main duties of this temporary assignment would be to support the existing advisory team. This will include:
- Responding to HR queries via a HR box
- Supporting line managers via email or face to face with any ad-hoc duties they might have
- Attend weekly case management meetings and update a case management spreadsheet
- You will also be on stand by for other advisers in their absence.
What will the successful candidate be like?
- Good Organisational skills
- Flexibility in supporting of programs activities
- Able to work within an environment of change and ambiguity
- An all round people person
- Good relationship building skills.
- Good working knowledge of employment law
- Experience working in HR advisory capacity
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to liaise with line managers
- A willingness to travel at short notice for up to 4 weeks at a time
