This is a temporary role which is likely to last for 12 weeks.

The Octopus Renewable Energy team, provides financing quickly and efficiently so our clients' projects see the light of day. We provide equity, typically up to £5 million in value, and can also provide specialist debt, either on its own or alongside the equity. What's more, we're fast - our expertise means we can assess the technologies and complete due diligence efficiently. This is a wide and varied role, the day to day priorities of the role change often, but the following are the essential tasks required, but is not an exhaustive list.

EA Support

  • Extensive diary management for senior team members' meetings, arranging the necessary resources and logistics as required
  • Booking travel (mainly UK) and itineraries
  • Handling incoming enquiries by email and telephone in a professional and helpful manner
  • General support for the wider team including meeting room bookings, general admin requests
Investment/Portfolio Support

  • Preparation of documentation.
  • Assist with drawdown and repayment fund requests
  • Maintain document management and archiving process
  • Maintain e-filing of documentation
  • Assist with the support of in-house legal counsel as and when requested
  • Attend team meetings in order to keep abreast of team activities and provide support where required
  • Work closely with other members of the support team in provision of admin support to the investment and portfolio team

Outline of skills/experience required

  • Extensive experience within a busy and document heavy environment
  • High level proficiency on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
  • Have a high level of attention to detail and confidence to challenge potential errors
  • Capable of organising and coordinating multiple requests and high volumes of documentation
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team player
  • Proactive, approachable and friendly manner
