A Hedge fund based in Mayfair is urgently looking for a superb receptionist who is reliable, polished and able to commit to an ongoing temp role.

You must be good with early starts and have a positive switched on attitude with a high attention to detail. The role is busy is looking for a professional polished and hard working receptionist with a charming and friendly personality. You will be able to remain calm in a pressurised environment, be aware of what it’s like to work in a hedge fund and its clientele as well as being incredibly proactive. 

Act as central contact for all meeting room reservations

Meet and greet all visitors at reception, take coats and show to rooms

 Set up meeting rooms prior to meetings, provide refreshments for meeting attendees

 Clear meeting rooms after meetings

 Maintain reception area, ensuring it is kept neat and presentable

 Answer all incoming calls to the main line

 Provide secondary backup phone coverage to all extensions

 Make and confirm restaurant reservations, book car services, couriers, place catering orders

 Prepare catering for breakfast/lunch meetings

 Sort and distribute daily post, parcels and papers, and manage outgoing post

Office Support Responsibilities will include:

Order and maintain office and food supplies (stationery, food, drinks etc)

 Maintain kitchen and bathroom area (dishwasher, bins, fridge stocking, toiletries)

 Manage daily lunch orders

 Twice weekly unpack clean gym towels

 Maintain office equipment, checking printer and copier paper and toner levels daily

Manage office maintenance and repairs

Twice weekly order and unpack groceries

 Run general errands as necessary

 Liaise with cleaning company as required (stock ordering, special requests)

 Take on ad-hoc projects as needed

Provide backup support to executive
