A successful Events company in West London is looking for a Sales Support/Business Development Executive to join their growing team. The purpose of the role is to research and identify potential new business opportunities for the sales and delegate managers, arrange meetings and provide general sales support to the sales managers.

Telesales experience would be useful and you should be happy getting on the phone and talking to people.

Main responsibilities of the position: -

  • Database management
  • Identifying key decision-makers using variable sources including calling, LinkedIn, twitter
  • Using social media to promote events to generate interest including twitter, LinkedIn
  • Analyse and understand feedback from attending delegates to identify their needs and requirements and find suitable supplier companies to match
  • Research and qualifying potential opportunities within a particular industry
  • Calling and building rapport with potential clients
  • Sending appropriate information
