Financial Accounts Analyst, Temp to Perm, £30-35K, London

With a busy period ahead of them, our client is looking for a Financial Accounts Assistant to join the team on a temp to perm basis. They are a successful global private bank which operates in around 30 locations worldwide.

What the role will entail:

This role supports the completion of daily and monthly activities within the Financial Accounting Team, with responsibilities including:

• Preparation of Daily Management Information package
• Daily maintenance and reconciliation of sub-participated loan portfolios with external administrators
• Assist in preparation of monthly internal management accounts
• Preparation and submission of Group financial reporting requirements
• Assist in preparation of monthly CRO (Client Relationship Officer)
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly VAT return
• Assist in the preparation of monthly regulatory reporting
• Provide cover for Accounts Payable function
• Other ad-hoc accounting duties as and when required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of financial reporting
• Experience of consolidated reporting
• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate and timely financial reports
• Work effectively under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with Banking or Financial Services
• Working knowledge of ledgers and preparation of accounts to trial balance
• Knowledge of reconciliations
• Experience in the preparation of management information
• Knowledge of accounting systems
• Strong Excel skills
