Our client, a small to medium-sized law firm located in the West End, seeks an experienced Office Manager / Facilities Manager to take on a broad range of office management duties.
The main aim of this role will be to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency and safety through the effective coordination of all office administration and procedures.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
Your duties will include:
- Managing and negotiating contracts with a large number of office/business suppliers;
- Organising office operations and procedures;
- Coordinating with the IT department on all office equipment and troubleshooting;
- Being responsible for all Health & Safety related issues;
- Managing building refurbishment and office moves;
- Setting up new joiners and dealing with basic, ad hoc IT duties.
We are looking to hear from office managers with previous experience within a professional services environment. Prior experience of working within a small to medium-sized law firm would be advantageous, but not essential.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills, the capacity to prioritise tasks, and the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels within the firm.
