Part-Time Finance PA - 2 Days Per Week  £37,000

Working as part of a job-share, the ideal Legal PA will be able to provide clear handover notes and work collaboratively with the job-share colleague and the Fee Earners.  The Finance department in this prominent city law firm is very fast-paced and will involve a myriad of PA and Secretarial duties, often working to tight deadlines and juggling multiple workloads.  Strong technical skills will be required for this role when handling legal documents, but more importantly, a versatile work ethic with a flexible attitude to embrace all aspects of the role will put you in good stead.  As a Legal PA, the focus will be on building strong networks throughout the firm, be able to take ownership of tasks and demonstrate an organised, level-headed approach. 

As Part-Time Legal PA you will be responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively with your ‘job share’ colleague, providing updates and handovers
  • Extensive diary management for Fee Earners in Banking & Finance
  • Arranging meetings both internally and externally
  • Producing long, accurate complex house style documents, manuscripts amends
  • Audio dictation and document comparisons
  • Organising and prioritising busy workloads
  • Full diary management, arranging meetings, conference calls, lunches and events
  • Maintaining filing systems, e-filing, archiving and retrieval
  • Extensive overseas travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, Visas, itineraries)

Personal Competencies:

  • Previous Legal PA experience within Corporate, Finance or Banking
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to cope with numerous conflicting demands in a calm and unflappable manner
  • Self-motivated, keen to take ownership of work and responsibilities
  • Billings experience
  • Strong Document Production and proof-reading skills
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge and minimum typing speeds of 65wpm
